An AI teammate inside your projects
Agentic AI
FoxPlan’s agentic AI analyzes your projects, produces reports and formatted PowerPoint, Word and Excel exports, acts on your plans and guides you day to day.
- Analysis, reports & insights on demand
- Formatted PowerPoint, Word, Excel & PDF exports
- Plan, assign and reschedule in plain language
- Built-in guidance on how to use FoxPlan
- Your vocabulary, your rules, your internal documents
- Your own AI engine, configured centrally
- FoxPlan MCP server for your own AI client
FoxPlan’s AI is agentic: it does not just answer, it acts. Ask in plain language and it structures a plan, checks resource availability, shifts a schedule or writes the report — then confirms what it did. It can never do anything you could not do yourself: every action stays within your own permissions.
Ask, and it acts
Generate a full work breakdown with its dependencies and milestones from a short description. Assign the right people after checking their availability. Run bulk changes such as “shift every task by two months”, with dates recalculated and dependencies preserved. Create or update tasks and deadlines, add comments, open cards and tickets, set up a project and its members.
Analysis and reports, on demand
Ask the question that matters — workload, budget consumption, delays, risks, portfolio progress — and the AI reads your live project data to answer with figures, tables and charts. No exporting into a spreadsheet, no waiting for the next steering committee: the analysis is produced the moment the question comes up.
Formatted PowerPoint, Word and Excel exports
The AI turns any analysis into a document that is ready to share: a PowerPoint deck (one slide per section), a Word report, an Excel workbook (one sheet per table) or a PDF. Documents come out formatted — branded tables, KPI cards and genuine Office charts that stay editable in PowerPoint or Excel. One request replaces an afternoon of copy-paste.
A guide for everyday use
The assistant also knows FoxPlan itself. It searches the user documentation and answers “how do I…” questions in your language, in context, without leaving the application — so new users become autonomous faster and your PMO fields fewer support requests.
An AI that knows your company
A generic assistant talks about projects, milestones and resources. Yours talks in your own words — and by your own rules: “any risk rated 12 or above goes to the steering committee”, “a project turns red as soon as a contractual milestone slips”. Your administrator writes them once and they travel with every answer, for everyone. Add your internal documents — company rules, project methodology, quality charter, procurement reference — and the AI looks up the right answer the moment the question comes up and quotes the document, without their content being sent to the model all the time. Each user also states, in their own profile, who they are and how they want to be answered.
Your recurring requests, in one click
The status report, the steering committee deck, the risk review: your organization writes the instructions once, your teams run them in one click from the chat. The deliverable comes out in the expected format, identical from one project to the next and from one project manager to the next — with nobody having to learn how to write a prompt. FoxPlan’s AI stops being one more tool to learn: it is your way of working, tooled up.
You stay in control
Administrators decide, category by category, what the AI is allowed to do — read data, create or modify tasks, assign resources, comment, export documents — and they decide it separately for each channel (built-in assistant and MCP server). API keys are encrypted, every call is logged for 24 months with its user, model and token count, and a monthly summary tracks consumption and cost.
Two ways to bring AI to your teams
FoxPlan does not lock you into one model and does not resell you tokens. Either you plug in the AI engine your company trusts, for everyone; or each user connects FoxPlan to the AI client they already work with. Both routes go through the same secured business actions and the same permissions.
Option A — For the whole company
Your own AI, in the admin console
Your administrator declares the AI engine the company trusts under Settings → AI engine configuration. It then appears as a chatbot for your users, right inside FoxPlan.
- OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot or a custom / self-hosted endpoint
- Your own API key, encrypted at rest and never returned to the browser
- Your model, your temperature, your token ceiling — one active engine at a time
- Request history and monthly consumption summary for the whole company
Option B — User by user
Your favourite AI client, over MCP
FoxPlan ships its own MCP server. Any user can connect it to the AI client they already use, straight from their FoxPlan account settings.
- Claude Cowork, Claude Desktop and Claude Code — and any MCP-compatible client (ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code / GitHub Copilot…)
- One-click OAuth sign-in with your FoxPlan account — no key to copy around
- The same 30+ business actions as the built-in assistant
- Scope limited to your own rights, on your own projects
